Your Role

As an Industrial Mechanic, you will directly contribute to ensuring the performance and reliability of our production equipment and machine tools.

With your technical expertise, autonomy, and ability to quickly diagnose issues, you will carry out the necessary maintenance and repairs to keep our operations efficient, safe, and productive.

You will also actively contribute to equipment improvements and the implementation of new projects in a modern manufacturing environment where technology plays an important role.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal performance of production equipment and machine tools by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance;
• Diagnose breakdowns and respond quickly to production equipment downtime;
• Identify the root causes of mechanical issues and implement appropriate corrective actions;
• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems;
• Use our computerized maintenance management system to document interventions and follow-ups;
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment and processes;
• Contribute to the design, installation, and implementation of new projects;
• Participate in corrective actions and improvements related to health and safety;
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment;
• Follow safe work procedures, occupational health and safety regulations, and applicable standards;
• Ensure your own safety as well as the safety of your colleagues;
• Perform any other duties related to the position.

The Profile We’re Looking For

You are resourceful, independent, and solution-oriented. You enjoy understanding how equipment works, solving technical challenges, and making a tangible contribution to the efficiency of a production environment.

You stand out through:

• A Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in Industrial Mechanics, Automated Systems Electromechanics, or a combination of related training and relevant experience;
• Experience working with machine tools and CNC equipment;
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems;
• The ability to effectively diagnose problems and implement lasting solutions;
• Autonomy, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility;
• An interest in continuous improvement and new technologies;
• Knowledge of electromechanics, considered an asset;
• Welding skills, considered an asset;
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

A Schedule That Makes a Difference

Because work-life balance matters, our day-shift team enjoys a 4-day, 10-hour-per-day workweek.

That means a three-day weekend, every week.

Schedule:

• Day shift;
• 4 days per week;
• 10 hours per day;
• 3 consecutive days off.
