Bianco Carrara

Bianco Carrara is extracted from an underground quarry in Carrare, located in the Tuscan mountainous region of Italy. This colourful baroque-style city is considered the birthplace of luxury bathrooms.

Bianco Carrara is one of many white natural  stones quarried in this area. This emblematic stone contains grey veining. During winter, most quarries are closed due to snow. Still, Bianco Carrara has the best return on investment of all white stones from this region. Pores are a standard occurrence in Bianco Carrara, as it is the case for many other similar stones. It is also a softer stone, more subject to scratching and abrasion. As it is the case with many natural stones, a sealer is recommended to extend its beauty through time.
